Able to use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents. Excellent e-mail writing skills. Must be able to manage all invoicing process and maintaining accounts receivable/payables. Answer calls and transfer to appropriate internal persons. Problem solving skills, maintains filing and maintenance of documents. Quick learner, able to learn internal All Routes company systems. Knowledge of QuickBooks or Simply Accounting.
Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship. Cultivate relationships with clients to protect and grow current revenue for the company. A dispatcher must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to coordinate, schedule and dispatch drivers and assign loads amongst drivers according to customer requirements. Must be able to keep track of the location of trucks and trailers at all times. Must be able to record fuel and mileage. Utilize various transportation provider software systems, to facilitate transportation planning and scheduling. Track shipments from pick-up through delivery so that accurate, up-to-date information can be provided regarding any shipment, update on transportation system. Prepare and update monthly logistics, schedule to assure deliveries to production locations. Coordinate product delivery schedules with customers. Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, pricing, and contractual obligations. Prepares proper paperwork for billing and authorization of a variety of invoices per defined processes. Active involvement with problem-solving of issues presented. Filing and administrative duties as required.
